3 Things You’ve Probably Seen This Month

  1. They’re pulling up on everything! 💪Pulling up to stand is a major motor milestone—it’s the first step toward cruising and walking!
  2. Babble, babble, babble! 👶 Expect strings of babbles with sounds like “da-da” or “ma-ma.” They might even associate those sounds with you!
  3. So curious! 🧐 Your baby is exploring objects in new ways—banging, shaking, and inspecting everything with great focus.

What’s Coming Up in Month 10?

  1. Cruising Along Furniture: Once your baby masters pulling up, they’ll likely start cruising along furniture. Walking might not be far off!
  2. Improved Pincer Grasp: Your baby will start using their thumb and forefinger to pick up small objects—perfect for finger foods.
  3. Understanding Simple Words: They’re learning to understand simple words like “no” or “bye-bye.” Repetition helps reinforce their vocabulary.

Proactive Tip: Create safe spaces for your baby to pull up, cruise, and explore. Offer soft finger foods to practice their pincer grasp.
